Last year, WealthBar joined CI Financial, teaming up with one of Canada’s largest investment companies so that we can continue to expand our products and serve you better.

Now, we’re excited to share the next step in that journey: WealthBar is becoming CI Direct Investing.

We’re putting the strength and resources of one of Canada’s largest investment companies to work for you.

Under this new brand, you’ll continue to have access to the same professionally managed portfolios and financial advice at your fingertips. Plus, we’ll soon begin offering self-directed investing. 

Here’s some additional information on these enhancements:

  1. Why the new name?
    Our new name reflects our goals of putting the strength and resources of one of Canada’s largest investment companies, CI Financial, to work for you. We’re expanding the products and services we offer to help make it even easier to manage your finances, starting with self-directed investing.

    CI Financial is an independent Canadian-owned international company with a half-century of experience helping Canadians build their wealth, and is one of the largest investment companies in Canada today.

  2. What’s changing under this new name?
    WealthBar will become CI Direct Investing in the coming months with a new logo and a new look on our website and app.

    Rest assured, you’ll still have access to the same adviser team, the service you trust, and the same portfolios at the same price.

    In the meantime, you can continue to visit us at wealthbar.com and login to your account the exact same way.

  3. How will your products and services change?
    They’re only getting better. You’ll continue to have access to your professionally managed investment portfolio and financial advice at your fingertips. Plus, we'll soon introduce self-directed investing, to give you even more options.

  4. Will my portfolio change?
    No, we continue to offer the same selection of managed portfolios at the same price. Additionally, we expect to add new portfolio options to the platform in the future.

  5. Have my fees changed?
    No. As always, we strive to offer convenient and affordable investing options to help you achieve your financial goals. Our fees remain unchanged.
